When doubt Creeps In.

Let’s be honest.
Doubt has a way of showing up right when you’re about to do something important. Something brave. Something that actually matters.
It doesn’t knock. It barges in.
No warning. No "hey, just here to check in on your confidence real quick." Just full-on existential interrogation:
“Are you sure you’re the one for this?”
“Someone’s already doing it better.”
“What if you fail and everyone sees?”
Sound familiar?
If you’ve ever found yourself sitting on the edge of a dream—heart pounding, feet frozen—this post is for you.
(And if you're already nodding? Just wait for the full episode dropping on Made For This Mountain—we’re going all the way in.)
Here’s the thing no one tells you about doubt:
It doesn’t always come from weakness.
Most of the time?
It comes from desire.
You doubt because you care. You doubt because you see the vision. You doubt because you want it so badly, the thought of messing it up feels unbearable.
And ironically, that very doubt is what causes us to stall, self-sabotage, and shrink.
We rehearse the worst-case scenario until it becomes our actual reality.
It’s a little like programming your GPS with the address of failure—and then being surprised when that’s where you end up.
Doubt is Loud Because Lies Have to Yell
Let’s be clear:
Truth is steady.
Truth doesn’t panic.
Truth doesn’t throw elbows in your mind.
But lies? They scream.
They need the volume because they don’t have the substance.
So next time doubt gets loud, ask it where it's getting its facts.
And then respond—not with more fear, but with your own truth.
“I belong here.” “I’ve worked for this.” “I’m learning, and that counts.” “I’m not perfect, but I’m present—and that’s more than enough.”
Imposter Syndrome? Been there. Still unpacking it.
Imposter syndrome isn’t about being a fraud. It’s about forgetting the journey that got you to the room you’re in.
It’s the false idea that someone else’s confidence validates your competence. Spoiler: It doesn’t.
You’re not in that space by accident. And you don’t need to wait until you “feel” ready to take up space.
Read that again.
Here's Your Homework (Yep, I’m Giving Homework Now):
Doubt your doubt. Seriously.
Make a list of what you actually know to be true about yourself.
Say one thing out loud today that affirms where you’re going.
Final Thought (Before You Press Play)
If you take nothing else from this blog, take this:
Your success is not proof that you’re worthy.
Your worth is the starting point of your success.
Trust it.
Walk in it.
And when the doubt creeps in?
Keep going anyway.
